Reduced Iron Powder has a very wide industrial applications, some of it’s major applications are as below :

  • Stainless Steel Cutting – Iron powder is widely used in Industry for Cutting of Stainless Steel. It is added to the flame for SS-Cutting along with the Oxygen stream to provide higher temperature for cutting of Stainless Steel.
  • PM Sintered Parts – Reduced Iron Powder is having a porous structure, thus it is widely used for manufacturing Sintered parts.
  • Welding Electrodes / Flux – Iron powder is used for the manufacturing of the Flux of Welding Electrodes.
  • Body Warmers – The Oxidizing property of Iron Powder is very beneficial in making Body Warmers, as the oxidizing process is exothermic.
  •  Oxygen Absorbers – The Iron powder is having a oxidizing property, which indeed absorbs the Oxygen present around.
